Masefield operates in both the renewable fuels (Bio fuels) and carbon credits (Emissions) markets. These activities are seen as complementary to the Company’s traditional oil and gas trading business, allowing for a broader scope of customer services as well as generating synergies between the different energies. It also reflects our interest in encouraging the adoption of cleaner and greener fuels for the benefit of future generations.

The New Energies business is run as a global portfolio with a central trading and risk-management function and regional origination and sales operation.
